Triassic marine reptiles are those that live in the Triassic period and adapt and radiate from land to the marine environment. Marine reptiles were in large group in the Triassic period, including early Sauropterygia, Ichthyoterygia, Thalattosauria, as well as some of the Protorosauria, and fossils were widely distributed in Europe, North America and southern China. The study of China's Triassic marine reptiles began in 1957. The first Triassic marine reptile fossil is keichousaurus and was found in Xingyi City ,Guizhou province, and then in Anhui, Hubei, Guizhou, Yunnan, Guangxi, Tibet and other places early Triassic to late Triassic formations also found a large number of fossils.
