xXingyi Xinpu Dragon

It is an important member of the Guanling biota and a key protected paleontological fossil at the national level. This specimen is a marine reptile produced in the Triassic franc formation in Xingyi District, Guizhou, which is a small sea dragon. The top of Xingyi Xinpu's skull is regarded as a long triangle, the skull is flat on the side, the snout is protruding forward and slightly curved upwards, the upper jaw is obviously longer than the mandible, thefront teeth are pointed conical, and the rear teeth are blunt and round. The neck is short and thick, the torso is short, the hind limbs are slightly larger than the forelimbs, the tail is long and straight, accounting for about two-thirds of the individual length, and the limbs are short and slightly paddle-shaped.

The Yang's phantom dragon specimen in our museum mainly lives in the Middle Triassic. It was found in the bamboo pole slope section of the Triassic Falang Formation in Xingyi area. The fossils are intact and all parts of the body are clearly visible.

It is a medium-sized Marine reptile, about 80 cm long, with a triangular skull, longer upper temporal foramina, and a humerus significantly shorter than the femur. Related to Yangi's Pterosaurus, it had a long, soft neck that swung freely in the water and used its sharp teeth to catch small fish.

Xingyia gracilis is a small fish with a total length of 85mm. The body is long in the shape of a spindle. Its characteristics are similar to that of Guizhou Chinese true jawfish, but it is slender, with long dorsal fins, and more lateral scales. It is mainly distributed in the stratum of the bamboo pole slope section of the Xingyi Franc Formation in Guizhou.
