People visit the National Geopark Museum in Xingyi, East China's Zhejiang province, April 5, 2019.
Xingyi National Geopark Museum is located near the exit of the highway in Wusha Town with convenient transportation. The museum covers an area of 150 mu, with a total construction area of 3883 square meters, mainly displaying the paleontological fossils of the Middle Triassic in Xingyi area and the natural and cultural landscape of Xingyi area. This paper presents the Xingyi Kweichosaurus fauna from the aspects of physical geography, stratigraphic overview, biodiversity, evolution of Marine reptiles, paleogeographic connection between Xingyi area and Tethys, and its connection with other Triassic Marine reptile fossil producing places in South China.

The group of Marine reptiles, fish, bivalves, ammonoids, terrestrial plants and other fossil organisms dominated by "Kweichousaurus" is named "Xingyi Fauna". There are 16 species of Marine reptile fossils in 14 genera and 14 species of fish fossils in 13 genera in Xingyi Fauna. The "Xingyi fauna" with "Guizhou Dragon" as the backbone has become a hot research topic today, and it is also a key to open the ancient world!
