Guizhou, located in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, is known as the "kingdom of paleontology" and has a world-renowned paleontological fossil library.
Wang Yunzhong is a fossil restorer at the Xingyi National Geopark Museum. In the past 10 years, he and his colleagues have restored more than 400 paleontological fossils.
In an eight-hour working day, they were able to repair only about 1 centimeter of rock face.
These restored fossils can be used for fossil-related scientific research, as well as for popular science, to give people a deeper understanding of the secrets hidden in paleontology.
